The Marburgers in 2005

Dudley’s Trees Inc.

The goal of Dudley’s Trees Inc. is to get our clients out of the house and into their yards. We take the time to walk the site and to talk with our clients about their needs, lifestyle and interests. We then incorporate these into a personalized landscape design, which may include trees and shrubs, sod, bedded areas, water features, patios and outdoor living spaces, retaining walls and stairs, and sprinkler and drip systems. Our designs and installations also consider factors such as thermal benefits, water efficiency, and the plants’ long-term needs for water, sunlight, space, and maintenance.

After earning a B.S. in Agricultural Economics at the University of Arizona, W. Dudley Marburger became the first arborist in Arizona to be certified by the International Society of Arboriculture in 1983. He opened Dudley’s Trees, Inc. and has offered full-service, professional tree care and consulting for over 30 years. Dudley began designing and installing landscapes, sprinkler systems, and drip irrigation systems in 1994. After living in Kalispell seasonally for seven years, the Marburger family permanently relocated to the Flathead Valley in 2005.

Dudley is active within the community of Montana ISA certified arborists and landscape professionals. He was a long-term board member and president of the Association of Montana Turf, Ornamental and Pesticide Professionals (AMTOPP).

Laurie Marburger has been managing the company’s office since 1999, working on the crew since 2010, and managing  the chemical / fertilizer application operations since 2014. She also runs the design software that helps our clients envision their future landscape. Laurie is a licensed inactive attorney in both Arizona and Montana but has found her place in the Flathead Valley helping to preserve its beauty and biodiversity.

The Marburgers and their three children enjoy a wide range of activities in the Flathead.  They all train in martial arts, referee soccer, ski, boat, hike, camp, and cheer each other on at school concerts and sporting events.
